At Sunshine Home Care, we pride ourselves on patient outcomes.

 

Our patients ranked us as a four star agency on the most recent HHCAHPS (Home Health Consumer Assessment of Providers and Systems) reporting period, giving us exceptional marks in the categories of patient communication and discussion of medicines, pain, and home safety. We have also received HHCAHPS honors three times for continuously providing satisfaction through the highest level of care as measured from the patient's point of view.

 

For the most recent reporting period, we outperformed the Oklahoma and/or national average  in several categories including:

 

• Improvement walking or moving around

• Improvement getting into or out of bed

• Improvement at bathing

• Beginning care in a timely manner

• Improvement taking drugs correctly by mouth

• Checking patients’ fall risk

• Checking patients for depression

• For patients with diabetes, getting doctor’s orders, giving foot care, and teaching patients about foot care
