Elk City hosts Alzheimer's support group
Providing care for a family member or friend with Alzheimer's can be a difficult act of love that many of us are currently or one day in the future will be faced with. The good news is that we don't have to face it alone.
For those in Western Oklahoma, there is currently an Alzheimer's support group in Elk City, OK, and it is sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association.
The support group takes places every third Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. at Baptist Village (1500 W. Country Club, Elk City, OK 73644). More information can be obtained by contacting Kristi Akins at kakins@ec.baptistvillage.org.
